had free time so thought about stuff and came to this

21tech vs all , critter creep and such, dont overmilitia creep,need insta t3 in most cases

vs hu

vs expo all in kill hall and shit (suicide like a brave man,later readapt ofc), vs if its impossible to do that just expand, if its impossible means u fucked up early game or he went all in defence with tower and shit , meaning u expo ez

vs no expo just raid and play normaly , hit and runs,bank,expo etc.

vs ud

rifles + gryphon or other counter unit and lame with blm+pala, camp,bank, creep

vs orc

rifles + armor upgrades and expo while fighting w/tower ofc, hit and runs on burrows and tp and/or tech to t3 army of knights or morts

bloodmage skilled with flame banish drain

vs elf

vs expo
tech to upgraded morts or upgraded knights and do some lame, zeppelins if possible too

vs no expo
get armor upped knights and tower up expo while fighting

fight only 50> food battles too, otherwise ez crushed u get to be

knights/casters mix obviously ,but have aviary at all times, obviously u wont have any map control, but thats not a problem, cuz of teleports and invis





everything seems old, but its slightly different, main thing which kept me away from old tech opening was opponents mass creeping , but after thinking for a while I understood that it doseant matter , just whatever, sure they can creep lvl 4 or so, but thats not important, it doseant effect my harassment possibilities and only slightly affects my fighting head on chances, but its not like that is a number one priority with these strats anyway

List of strats I use nowadays

VS ORC

1. archmage footies opening , no miltia creep ,very fast tech, never engage until tier 2, just creep slowly @ t2 casters and adapt or firelord push and similar, very flexibile.

2. on twisted meadows, fast altar archmage footies ( standart ) , creep lab and then non stop aggression on orc while teching to casters. Not harass , but full force aggression, creep with militia while teching to level 3.

3. bloodmage paladin mass rifles , footies opening and swift tech or slow tech build. In any case creep in tier 2 and adapt, try to pick off burrows and be somewhat defencive. Orc cant really defeat you if you have normal heroes and 50food rifles + miltia in your base .

4. standart human opening with archmage and militia or no miltia creep, tech at arround 28 food and just creep arround safely, in tier 2 either expo or tower rush with first sorc and priest.

5. fast altar archmage no baracks tech, harass with either blizzard or WE ( cancel shop of orcs) , after tech build rax and produce footies, in tier 2 push,expo or creep arround safely and tech tier 3.

6. fast baracks and insta tower rush with beastmaster,firelord or whatever. Tech to gryphons after towers up or to mass defended footies ( wait until huge number before going in ) or similar.


VS ELF

1. archmage footies opening, no militia creep, very fast tech, never engage until tier2, unless its absolutely neccessery and is near your base, get riflecaster quickly and take map control, bank at 50 food and break when elf isnt expecting you to do so. Use sorcs invis to help you not lose units and pick off elfs units.

2. archmage footies opening, miltiia or no militia creep, tech at arround 28 food, get arcane tower at main and just creep arround and do some harassing on wisps , get naga 2nd and kill some archers if possible ( can pull militia to elfs base and tp later ) , take map control and then push or fake a push and bank 50 while preparing to break any time and crush the elf. Same as above really , but is more flexibile and can expo with this better, better on big maps.

3. fast baracks (power built) tavern hero power push on elf instantly , use naga, dark ranger, beastmaster or similar heroes, can fake this push and tech tier 2, in tier 2 can do a real push or expo or get riflecaster and play as above mentioned riflecasters.

4. bloodmage 18 tech into invisible mortars or invisible knights, mass lame and abuse while banking.
morts vs t1 expo , knights vs t2 or no expo. ( open base ) Use your natural human units more than anything else.

5. bloodmage 21-24 tech, invisible mortars or knights or island expo or drops, mass lame and abuse while banking. Use bloodmage to harass alone alot more, and use things like labaratory alot more to support him.


VS UNDEAD

1. 17-18 tech paladin, bloodmage , archmage , mk first into mass rifles or riflecaster and map control + tier 2 expo and/or tech to t3 gryphons. Good on small maps

2. bloodmage footies opening with arcane tower 26 food tech, harass instantly , and creep with militia while harassing, get mass rifles + paladin 2nd, bloodmage lvl 3 goes harassing acos+zigs while paladin creeps lvl 3, tech to gryphons or any other counter units and play defencively until you get counter army, use your open base to defend really good. Undead cant siege you for shit if you camp with paladin and rifles + few tower in an open base.


VS HUMAN

1. archmage or bloodmage fast altar 18 tech, go insta harass and tech, can get baracks after tech and do a push on humans expo or set up expo yourself with footies 2 hero and priests. Or can tech tier 3 knights and do one huge push on humans expo. Good on small maps

2. beastmaster harass with quils with either 18 or 21 tech, tech to knights with mass summon heroes ( BeM FL Tinker ) or to gryphon and push or go into beastmaster solo and hit and runs with breakers and summons or hit and runs with knights or counter expo. Pretty much , just counter. Logicaly should counter as soon as possible so if expo is late in the game and you have a possibility for knights you do knights , if its really early and you have nothing then just counter expand. Good on small maps

3. fast altar bloodmage 21 tech, harass and creep at same time, tech to knights casters and do drops, make secure base and just harass harass and harass, counter expo once you have very solid fighting force of knight casters. Vs gryphons go mass copters and procceed into mass bombs harass. Can easily kill town halls with knights and blm. Dont panic if it seems that you are losing , as long as you have 50 food and secure base you are even with opponent , even if he has 70~ food and an expo.

And always remember, zeppelin drops are extremely op vs human.

Going inactive ( in wc3 )

Alright this time for reals, I wont play wc3 esports anymore at all, maybe some cgs ,but unlikely. I am too bored of this game , not because of the game itself , but because of the community ( more like lack of it ) and lack of competition, I may switch to sc2 once I have better computer, but that will take time. Still if anyone need tips just comment and Ill answer asap

VS UD w/ map control and sick micro

"How should you play as Human against an aggressive UD who goes DK fiends (and possibly has map hack)? I lost a lot to someone like this on GGC where it seemed he always had map control. What's the best way to kill fiends when the UD is good at microing them? Or what should I do?"

First things first , always assume that your opponent is good at microing, cuz really cant judge, every battle is different!

Secondly it depends on what opening you use , assuming you are in this page you either use bloodmage + footies aggression opening or bloodmage fast or bloodmage slow tech.

Bloodmage+footies aggro

With this opening you easily defeat single DK and drain his mana pretty well too, no matter what the situation is dont engage undeads army with only footies ( unless he is creeping an expo or so ) . Pretty much just run arround while you militia creep a little bit and get mass rifles from 2 baracks, point of rifles is to help you creep your level 3 on bloodmage so that you could go harassing in tier 2 ( flamestrike on acos or ziggurats ) while your paladin creeps fairly easily with huge rifle force ( mass rifles gives you an early tier 2 edge ) . Once thats done you simply camp at your well built base ( make it open and have few towers in it too ) while either getting tier 3 or making yourself a tier 2 expo , of course harassing with your heroes and maybe with rifles until those things done ( dont overdo aggression if you expo tho' ) . Pretty simple really, no matter how good he microes you can micro good too and its somewhat easier for you , you have siphon mana and paladins holy light and divine shield, can negate novas and lose nothing. Just be aware that you dont need to rush into things, with BLM paladin you are more of defencive than offencive!


Bloodmage or Paladin fast tech (17 or 18 tech)

Its pretty similar to above , you just dont militia creep while harassing and rather focus on getting huge ammount of rifles in a flash so that you could creep biggest camps before undead becomes strong enough to negate you doing that. Later you can expo or tech tier 3 or even do both if you took fair enough advantage with your early tier 2 power. Rifles/gryphon mix is capable of tackling UD head on if you have sufficient micro, but micro will be alot easier than it will be for undead , mostly because you have imba paladin and flamestrike.



Bloodmage slow tech

This build isnt really that useful vs undead in solo, but if you do it , you should go for extremely slow variation of it ( 23-24 food tech ) with blacksmith and baracks before teching, I think I posted guides about this build , but if I didnt just post a comment and I'll dig it up. Anyhow, with this build you can get alot of rifles with upgrades as fast as 18tech , but be able to militia creep massively in exchange of slower tech ( I think its 1:30minute difference lol ), its pretty much self explainatory, you can get lvl 3 bloodmage in a flash, have a safe base and have massive miltia and rifle force in tier 2 early, meaning you can creep lvl 3 paladin super quickly too, its very risky tho'. What I would do is, I would harass w/ bloodmage
while rifles and militia creep to level 3 and then maybe go into zeppelin drops in tier 2 while my paladin is in production and later just do the same routine as before. Tech or expo and always harass, never engage (atleast not until you got dream army), just defend.



Btw , fiends die if DK has no mana, can always have bloodmage in front with siphon mana and let him be focused , cuz you have paladin who can heal him easily. And fiends die pretty well to rifles really and flamestrike, and ofc theres holylight too, could improve your own micro too, micro is fun




By the way, I am able to get ethernet cable at nights, so Ive been playing some 2v2's with contempt , lag free at last, so there should be more reps coming up I guess. Cant really play any tournaments tho' , cuz there are none at nights obviously

A warrior must cultivate the feeling that he has everything
needed for the extravagant journey that is his life. What counts
for a warrior is being alive. Life in itself is sufficient,
self-explanatory and complete.
Therefore, one may say without being presumptuous that the
experience of experiences is being alive.

A warrior must focus his attention on the link between
himself and his death. Without remorse or sadness or worrying, he
must focus his attention on the fact that he does not have time and
let his acts flow accordingly. He must let each of his acts be his
last battle on earth. Only under those conditions will his acts
have their rightful power. Otherwise they will be, for as long as
he lives, the acts of a fool.

Note—Although the quotes use the default masculine pronoun "he," it is not assumed that warriors must be males. Many of the most powerful warriors in the Casteneda books are female.

Warriors compress time; this is the sixth principle of the
art of stalking. Even an instant counts. In a battle for your
life, a second is an eternity, an eternity that may decide the
outcome. Warriors aim at succeeding, therefore they compress time.
Warriors don't waste an instant.

A warrior acknowledges his pain but he doesn't indulge in it.
The mood of the warrior who enters into the unknown is not one of
sadness; on the contrary, he's joyful because he feels humbled by
his great fortune, confident that his spirit is impeccable, and

maximum stress than to be impeccable under normal circumstances.

What seems natural is to think that a warrior who can hold his
own in the face of the unknown can certainly face petty tyrants with
impunity. But that's not necessarily so. What destroyed the superb
warriors of ancient times was to rely on that assumption. Nothing
can temper the spirit of a warrior as much as the challenge of
dealing with impossible people in positions of power. Only under
those conditions can warriors acquire the sobriety and serenity to
withstand the pressure of the unknowable.

Knowledge comes to a warrior, floating, like specks of gold
dust, the same dust that covers the wings of moths. So for a
warrior, knowledge is like taking a shower, or being rained on b
specks of dark gold dust.

A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's
control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go.
That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind.
No one can push him, no one can make him do things against himself
or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive and
he survives in the best of all possible fashions.

Acts have power. Especially when the warrior acting knows that
those acts are his last battle. There is a strange consuming
happiness in acting with the full knowledge that whatever he is
doing may very well be his last act on earth.

If a warrior is to succeed in anything, the success must come
gently, with a great deal of effort but with no stress or obsession.

Our fellow men are black magicians. And whoever is with them
is a black magician on the spot. Think for a moment, can you
deviate from the path that your fellow men have lined up for you?
And if you remain with them, your thoughts and your actions are
fixed forever in their terms. That is slavery. The warrior, on the
other hand, is free from all that. Freedom is expensive, but the
price is not impossible to pay. So, fear your captors, your
masters. Don't waste your time and your power fearing freedom.

A warrior is never under siege. To be under siege implies that
one has personal possessions that could be blockaded. A warrior has
nothing in the world except his impeccability, and impeccability
cannot be threatened.

To discard everything that is unnecessary is the second
principle of the art of stalking. A warrior doesn't complicate
things. He aims at being simple. He applies all the concentration
he has to decide whether or not to enter into battle, for any battle
is a battle for his life. This is the third principle of the art of
stalking. A warrior must be willing and ready to make his last
stand here and now. But not in a helter-skelter way.

The flaw with words is that they always make us feel
enlightened, but when we turn around to face the world they always
fail us and we end up facing the world as we always have, without
enlightenment. For this reason, a warrior seeks to act rather than
to talk, and to this effect, he gets a new description of the
world—a new description where talking is not that important, and
where new acts have new reflections.

Applying these principles brings about three results. The
first is that stalkers learn never to take themselves seriously;
they learn to laugh at themselves. If they are not afraid of being
a fool, they can fool anyone. The second is that stalkers learn to
have endless patience. Stalkers are never in a hurry; they never
fret. And the third is that stalkers learn to have an endless
capacity to improvise.

Only as a warrior can one withstand the path of knowledge. A
warrior cannot complain or regret anything. His life is an endless
challenge, and challenges cannot possibly be good or bad.
Challenges are simple challenges.

The recommendation for warriors is not to have any material
things on which to focus their power, but to focus it on the spirit,
on the true flight into the unknown, not on trivialities.
Everyone who wants to follow the warrior's path has to rid
himself of the compulsion to possess and hold onto things.

Self-importance is man's greatest enemy. What weakens him is
feeling offended by the deeds and misdeeds of his fellow men.
Self-importance requires that one spend most of one's life offended
by something or someone.

The hardest thing in the world is to assume the mood of a
warrior. It is of no use to be sad and complain and feel justified
in doing so, believing that someone is always doing something to us.
Nobody is doing anything to anybody, much less to a warrior.

A warrior takes his lot, whatever it amy be, and accepts it in
ultimate humbleness. He accepts in humbleness what he is, not as
grounds for regret but as a living challenge.


By the way, Casteneda, just before he died, published an entire book of Don Juan quotations entitled The Arrow of Time.

When nothing is for sure we remain alert, perennially on our
toes. It is more exciting not to know which bush the rabbit is
hiding behind than to behave as though we knew everything.

As long as a man feels that he is the most important thing in
the world, he cannot really appreciate the world around him. He is
like a horse with blinders; all he sees is himself, apart from
everything else.

banish doubts from our minds. Once doubts are banished anything is

A warrior must learn to make every act count, since he is going
to be here in this world for only a short while, in fact, too short
for witnessing all the marvels of it.

Feeling important makes one heavy, clumsy and vain. To be a warrior one needs to be light and fluid.

Dwelling upon the self too much produces a terrible fatigue. A man in that position is deaf and blind to everything else. The fatigue itself makes him cease to see the marvels all around him.

When one has nothing to lose, one becomes courageous. We are timid only when there is something we can still cling to.

For a seer, the truth is that all living beings are struggling to die. What stops death is awareness.

Prowess: To seek excellence in all endeavors expected of a knight, martial and otherwise, seeking strength to be used in the service of justice, rather than in personal aggrandizement.

Justice: Seek always the path of 'right', unencumbered by bias or personal interest. Recognize that the sword of justice can be a terrible thing, so it must be tempered by humanity and mercy. If the 'right' you see rings agrees with others, and you seek it out without bending to the temptation for expediency, then you will earn renown beyond measure.

Loyalty: Be known for unwavering commitment to the people and ideals you choose to live by. There are many places where compromise is expected; loyalty is not amongst them.

Defense: The ideal knight was sworn by oath to defend his liege lord and those who depended upon him. Seek always to defend your nation, your family, and those to whom you believe worthy of loyalty.

Courage: Being a knight often means choosing the more difficult path, the personally expensive one. Be prepared to make personal sacrifices in service of the precepts and people you value. At the same time, a knight should seek wisdom to see that stupidity and courage are cousins. Courage also means taking the side of truth in all matters, rather than seeking the expedient lie. Seek the truth whenever possible, but remember to temper justice with mercy, or the pure truth can bring grief.

Faith: A knight must have faith in his beliefs, for faith roots him and gives hope against the despair that human failings create.

Humility: Value first the contributions of others; do not boast of your own accomplishments, let others do this for you. Tell the deeds of others before your own, according them the renown rightfully earned through virtuous deeds. In this way the office of knighthood is well done and glorified, helping not only the gentle spoken of but also all who call themselves knights.

Largesse: Be generous in so far as your resources allow; largesse used in this way counters gluttony. It also makes the path of mercy easier to discern when a difficult decision of justice is required.

Nobility: Seek great stature of character by holding to the virtues and duties of a knight, realizing that though the ideals cannot be reached, the quality of striving towards them ennobles the spirit, growing the character from dust towards the heavens. Nobility also has the tendency to influence others, offering a compelling example of what can be done in the service of rightness.

Franchise: Seek to emulate everything I have spoken of as sincerely as possible, not for the reason of personal gain but because it is right. Do not restrict your exploration to a small world, but seek to infuse every aspect of your life with these qualities. Should you succeed in even a tiny measure then you will be well remembered for your quality and virtue.

Inactivity

I am thinking of going inactive , but Ill decide after this holiday, main problem being is that I cant find any opponents and playing vs random faggots who are not bad , but nothing special is extremely boring and its just too hard to make myself try vs them ( this is really an old weakness of mine ) . In any case I am not sure, theres nothing else I can do apart from wc3 nowadays, and even if I go inactive in wc3 Ill find something similar to wc3 to pay my attention to ( this goes not only to games )
